Introduction
he temple of Attahas, is believed to be one of the 51 Shakta pithas at which the body parts and jewelry of the Hindu goddess Shakti fell to Earth. The goddess is so large that the lower lip is about 15 to 18 feet wide. The temple is a site of Hindu pilgrimage throughout the year. December is a particularly popular time for visitors to picnic at the site.

Phullora Mela draws large crowds (Magh Purnima)
The temple's main annual event is the 10-day Phullora Mela held around Magh Purnima (late January–February), which draws large crowds at the end of winter. Navaratri (September–October) is also observed, and December is a popular picnic season at the site.

Devotees are traditionally expected to dress modestly when entering the shrine — typically a saree for women and a dhoti or kurta-pyjama for men.
